Covenant Seminary Campaign & Campaign Counsel

The FOCUS Group has had the privilege of providing counsel to two Covenant capital campaigns raising in total over $30M in cash and more in significant planned gifts. The first campaign finished precisely on the date projected in the feasibility study conducted by TFG and then went well over goal in the months immediately succeeding.

The recent campaign met the $12.5M goal four months earlier than the goal projected in a TFG feasibility study and now (12/07) has raised more than $1.5M over goal. This campaign was for a new academic building ($8.5M) which is pictured above, a community life center ($1.5M), and endowment ($2.5M).

The Executive Campaign Committee (38 members) led the campaign along with the President, Bryan Chapell and Vice President, Dave Wicker, and as a committee gave 48% of the goal. Through these campaigns the Seminary has built a solid base of experience in capital campaigning and is well positioned for future campaigns.
